Prom Fashion Trends – New Trends Every Year

Prom fashion trends change every year. Gowns and dresses are still the perferred wear of girls, and tuxedos for boys. Fads and trends come and go, and it is important to teenagers to be in style during prom so make sure you know the current fashions.

The main prom fashion trend that has always remained is long flowing graduation gowns for girls, though the hemline has changed with trends. Bright colors, bare backs and bare midriffs are the new fashion fad. Accessories like earrings with crystals are back in fashion. Most girls prefer high heeled shoes with heels up to 3 inches in length, as are the modern fashions. Beads are also making a comeback and you can find them in handbags, hair accessories, and even on grad gowns and dresses. A natural look is fast coming into fashion and could be the fashion trend of the year for graduation.

Fads and trends tend to change with every season. To accomodate this, designers make grad and prom dresses that can be changed according to what the fad is. A simple, classic dress can be made to fit a trend by adding sparkly accessories or fancy jewelry. Grad should be a special time, so why not have a dress or gown that makes you feel special too.
